The Serengeti is also home to the world's greatest lion sanctuary, as well as other predators such as cheetahs and hyenas. Finally, the Ngorongoro Crater is a beautiful and unique natural wonder, the largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera in the world, which encompasses almost 30,000 animals, including the Big Five.

Day 1: Arrival Kilimanjaro-Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be warmly greeted by our friendly representative who will be waiting to escort you to your hotel in Arusha. We understand that travelling can be tiring, so we'll ensure that your check-in formalities are smooth and hassle-free. Once you're all settled in your room, take some time to unwind and relax. You may want to explore the hotel amenities, such as the pool or spa, or simply enjoy the comfort of your own room.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will embark on an exciting adventure to Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. As we journey through the stunning African landscapes, keep your eyes peeled for the diverse wildlife that inhabits this beautiful area.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. During the dry season thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park.
The park is famous for its huge number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing lions. Visitors to the park can expect to see any number of resident zebra and wildebeest in addition to the less common animals. Other common animals include waterbuck, giraffe, and olive baboons.
Enjoy Lunch inside the park and continue with the afternoon game drive. As night falls drive back to the Lodge for a delicious dinner served under the African stars or in the dining room with silver and crystal.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast we journey on heading up towards the fertile highlands where wheat, coffee, and corn, are grown by the Iraqw people. Passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, we will be afforded a view of the breath-taking Ngorongoro Crater before traveling onwards to the Serengeti National Park which we will reach by midday. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania covering an astounding 15,000 kms squared with diverse landscapes and habitats such as grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah and mountain. Here the great migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope takes place and, depending on the season, we may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals on their search for food and water.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
We depart around 8:00 AM after breakfast, with packed lunch boxes for full day game drives that last for about 8-9 hours in Central Serengeti. Optional add-on tours this day: Balloon Safari in the morning ($540 per person) or Walking safari for 3-4 hours ($45 per person sharing or $60 for solo client) in Central Serengeti.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Maasai village
After early breakfast, we depart at around 6:30 AM and will have game drives till around noon in Central Serengeti. We may have the opportunity to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – before embarking on our journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation area.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
This morning after breakfast at the hotel we head towards Lake Manyara for a day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park in search of big games such as darkly colored giraffes, buffalo, and wallowing hippo, enjoying spectacular views of thousands of flamingos in and around the lake and exploring the woodlands for the famous tree climbing lions. Enjoy picnic lunch in the park surrounded by the magnificent natural scenery of this small but beautiful park.
Continue with the afternoon game drive and in the late afternoon drive back to Arusha
