Day 1: Arrive Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred to Arusha, where you will spend a night at a beautiful lodge. The lodge is situated in a working coffee plantation. You will be briefed about your safari and plan for your next day's departure time. Overnight Legendary Lodge on half board.
Day 2: Safari Tarangire National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast you will be transferred from Arusha to Forest Chem Chem. Forest Chem Chem is located in the northern Tanzania private concession near to the wildlife corridor adjoining Tarangire National Park. The camp delights in shared adventures and creating memories around a crackling campfire. Arrive for lunch and enjoy yourself in your private camp. Late evening you will go for a game drive and return back in time for dinner.
Day 3-4: Safari Tarangire National park
Guests can experience a variety of safari activities including game drives, walking safari and night game drive on private concession, off road is allowed and you will have your private vehicle. The concession is known for big Tuskers. One of the days you can go to Tarangire national park which is famous for having herds of up to 300 Elephants, however other wildlife and bird species inhabit within the park. It's the best place for doing game drives during the dry season where the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area which flows throughout the year. The landscape is interesting due to the high number of baobab trees. Some of the common wildlife species within the park include wildebeest, zebra, who also migrate to Manyara national park during the rainy season because of too much mud which destroys their hooves. Late evening after game drive you will drive to the camp for dinner.
Day 5: Flight to Serengeti National park
Early morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Chem Chem Airstrip for the flight to Sasakwa Airstrip in Grumeti Reserves. Serengeti House is set on the slopes of Sasakwa Hills with vast Serengeti Plains and near a waterhole where game regularly gather to drink. Upon arrival at Sasakwa Airstrip, you will meet your guide with a private safari vehicle and transfer to Serengeti house for check-in and lunch. After lunch you will do an afternoon game drive, return back and the house in time for dinner.
Day 6 - 8: Serengeti National park
Daily game drives with professional guides provide the perfect opportunity to get up close to Africa’s incredible animals, while late afternoon drives reveal the elusive magic of nocturnal Africa. The game drives are all conducted in state-of-the-art Land Cruisers. During your stay at Singita Grumeti, you are likely to spot a great variety of wildlife including cheetah, bearded wildebeest, bat eared fox, black rhino, Maasai giraffe, lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and zebra. The villa’s four boldly proportioned guest suites – each with serene bathrooms, outdoor showers and private terraces – embody refined luxury underpinned by contemporary comfort, and this expansive property also includes an eat-in family kitchen, media room, fully-equipped fitness center, tented massage treatment suite and tennis pavilion.
Day 9: Departure
On The last day of your safari after breakfast you will transfer from Serengeti House to Sasakwa Airstrip. Fly from Sasakwa to Kilimanjaro Airport in time for your flight.
